Synopsis

This four week, online, asynchronous course helps individuals strengthen their well‑being by offering practical, easy‑to‑apply strategies for adapting to change, managing stress, and recovering from challenges. Through a blend of short readings, videos, reflective activities, and discussions, the course introduces evidence‑based concepts—from resilience lessons in the animal kingdom to understanding the biological impacts of stress—providing participants with meaningful tools they can use both personally and professionally to feel more grounded, capable, and confident in navigating daily challenges.
After completion of this 4 week online course, participants will be able to:
- build upon their present knowledge and experience in the area of personal resilience
- develop a greater awareness of 'self' and the importance of being proactive in cultivating resiliency in their everyday lives
- experiment, practice and choose from a variety of resiliency-building approaches and techniques that best fit their personal lifestyles
