As an employee in the AI era the ability to craft meaningful prompts in gen-AI while also adhering to Algonquin AI Policy is essential. Through a curation of policy, online resources, and prompt writing activities, employees will learn how to effectively interact with the generative AI tool, Microsoft Copilot.

• Explain what information can and cannot be shared with gen-AI at Algonquin.
• Discuss the risks of using gen-AI at Algonquin.
• Craft effective prompts using the prescribed formula in Microsoft Copilot.
• Locate, access, and use Microsoft Copilot Chat.
