Interviewing with Confidence
Synopsis
Thursday, July 16th, 10:00am-11:30amCourse Overview
Interviewing with Confidence is a practical, skills‑focused workshop designed to help participants approach interviews with clarity, confidence, and professionalism. The session walks learners through the full interview lifecycle—from preparation and understanding different interview formats, to answering common, behavioural, situational, and technical questions, and following up after the interview.
Participants learn how to research roles and organizations effectively, reflect on their own experience, and communicate their strengths clearly using structured approaches like the STAR method. The workshop also addresses common challenges such as managing nerves, handling difficult questions, avoiding common interview mistakes (especially in internal interviews), and presenting a strong professional presence in both in‑person and virtual settings.
