Synopsis
Wednesday, September 2nd, 2:00pm-3:00pmCourse Overview
A well-designed weekly schedule can help students stay organized, manage their workload, and engage more effectively with course content. In this one-hour workshop, participants will explore how Microsoft Copilot can support the creation of clear, realistic, and student-centred course schedules for the start of the semester.
Through practical examples, participants will learn how to use Copilot to organize weekly topics, estimate student workload, align learning activities with outcomes, and create schedules that balance flexibility with structure. The session will also demonstrate prompt strategies that can help instructors generate, revise, and enhance weekly schedules more efficiently.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have a set of practical Copilot prompts and approaches they can use to develop or refine weekly schedules that support student success and set clear expectations from day one.
