Participants in this workshop will work as a group to explore student needs and how College services support the success of our students. Although this workshop is largely experiential, it also includes a review of the current research examining barriers to success among Canadian postsecondary students. Through an interactive exercise, participants will learn how to identify, understand, and effectively refer students to a broad range of Algonquin services; each of which is designed to help students overcome a common challenge to post-secondary success.
